 Rental Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before making a reservation with Authentic Car Rental.

Reservation & Booking

  1. All reservations are subject to vehicle availability.
    2. A valid driver's license and credit card are required for all rentals.
    3. The minimum age for renting is 25 years.
    4. Background checks are mandatory for all first-time customers.
    5. Reservations can be modified or canceled up to 3 days before pickup without penalty.
  2. Delays on flights - We are not to be held responsible or expected to '' Push Back '' or shift booking dates, CONSIDERATION IS SOLELY LEFT TO THE COMPANY.

Payment & Security Deposit

  1. Half Down- payment is required to confirm your reservation.
    2. A security deposit (amount varies by vehicle) will be held and returned after inspection.
    3. The security deposit may be used to cover Fuel-only. The client will be held liable to pay in full for damages, traffic violations, or other charges.
  2. 4. All prices are quoted in Trinidad and Tobago Dollars (TTD).

 Vehicle Usage

1. Vehicles must remain in Trinidad and Tobago at all times.
2. The renter and authorized drivers listed on the agreement are the only persons permitted to drive the vehicle.
3. Smoking is not permitted in any of our vehicles.
4. Pets are only allowed in designated vehicles with prior approval.
5. Off-road driving is prohibited unless specifically authorized.

 Insurance & Liability

1. Basic insurance is included in all rentals.
2. The renter is responsible for any damages not covered by the insurance policy.
3. Additional insurance options are available for purchase.
4. The renter is responsible for all traffic violations and fines incurred during the rental period.

 Vehicle Return

1. Vehicles must be returned on the agreed date and time.
2. Late returns will incur additional charges.
3. Vehicles must be returned with a full or same amount of fuel in the tank.
4. Vehicles should be returned in the same condition as received, allowing for normal wear and tear.

Termination of Agreement

Authentic Car Rental reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and repossess the vehicle without notice if:
1. The vehicle is used in violation of the agreement.
2. The information provided by the renter is found to be false.
3. The vehicle is abandoned or used in an illegal manner or abused in any sense 

By making a reservation with Authentic Car Rental, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
